Associate Solicitor - Company Commercial

We are looking to appoint a Company Commercial Associate Solicitor to join us in our Brentwood office.

We are looking for a driven Associate to join our Company Commercial team in our Brentwood office. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to work alongside Lucy Folley, Partner, on a varied and high-quality caseload.

Our new member will have a passion for delivering a high standard of service and thrive in an environment where they can work with others to achieve the goals of both the team and the firm. Joining this team will enable the chance to develop long-lasting relationships with a variety of clients, including companies, partnerships, and sole traders. Often our Solicitors have represented their clients for years, many even from start-up.

This role would be best suited to a 3+ years PQE Solicitor with experience in running a Corporate caseload.

As an Associate in our team, your role would include:

  • Advising clients in various aspects of corporate and partnership law including business and share acquisitions, management buy-outs, joint ventures, and shareholder agreements.
  • Providing high quality and proactive legal advice, managing own time effectively to achieve targets.
  • Mentoring and supporting junior members of the team, delegating casework to the most appropriate person to maximise the team contribution.
  • Providing regular updates to the head of team, assisting in the implementation of new systems and processes. Identify opportunities to add value to clients.
  • Initiating and taking ownership of marketing initiatives.
  • Assisting the team in development of commercial law products, including e-products via the firm's website.
