Operations Admin Assistant

We are looking to appoint an Operations Admin Assistant to join our Facilities team in our Bishop's Stortford office.

We have a new opportunity to join our Operations team as an Operations Admin Assistant in our Bishop’s Stortford office. In this role you will work as part of our Facilities Department alongside our team, employees, and external partners to ensure an excellent and timely service to our business.

As one of our key Operational Teams, our Facilities department provide an essential service to the legal and professional support staff across all of our 6 offices and 8 business divisions.  Working with both our General Office and Archiving teams, this role will provide the opportunity to understand key aspects of the business and our key systems and could provide an excellent steppingstone for the right candidate to progress into the wider business.

The role is being is offered on a full or part time basis.

We are seeking someone with experience working in an office environment, no previous experience in the legal sector is required, full support and training will be given. 

You will be positive, with a ‘can do’ attitude, bringing enthusiasm and initiative to the role. Managing priorities, timings, and workload are also key – the role is suited to those that enjoy working in a team focused environment.

The key responsibilities of an Operations Admin Assistant include:

  • Extensive handling of the firms incoming mail using cutting edge technology to scan and electronically distribute documents to all of the firm’s offices as well as manually distributing the most important original documents.
  • Providing a quality archiving service to the business coordinating the retrieval and delivery of the our clients documents between our external archiving partners and our legal teams.

  • Coordinating office supplies.
  • Using the firm's IT systems to utilise technology to maintain and improve processes.
