Risk and Compliance Coordinator

We are looking to appoint a Risk and Compliance Coordinator to join our Bishop’s Stortford office.

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Risk and Compliance Coordinator to join our Risk and Compliance team in our Bishop’s Stortford office.

As a Risk and Compliance Coordinator at Tees you will be working closely with our expert Risk and Compliance Lawyers. Your main duty will be to provide the administrative support they need in order to allow seamless legal services to our clients. This role provides the ideal opportunity to develop your legal knowledge, as well as gain experience working in a progressive and forward-thinking law firm.

Some of the key responsibilities of a Risk and Compliance Coordinator will be:

  • Managing tasks in relation to the membership of Mortgage Panels and the Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality scheme
  • Assisting with the annual renewal of panel memberships
  • Administration for the firm’s Anti Money Laundering regime
  • Assisting to plan the annual Lexcel audit, as well as the quarterly Lexcel file reviews
  • Acting as the main point of contact in the absence of our Risk and Compliance Lawyers

The role is being offered as a part time opportunity, ideally around 12 – 14 hours per week. During the period of preparation for our annual Lexcel audit, and quarterly file reviews, additional hours may be required.
