Training and Competence Manager

We are looking to appoint a Training and Competence Manager


Our Bishop's Stortford office would be the ideal base for our new team member, however, we would also consider candidates who are looking to be based in Cambridge. Occasional travel across our 6 offices would be expected, however, we do not anticipate this being a frequent need.


We have a fantastic opportunity for a Training and Competence Manager to join our team!

As our Wealth team continues to grow we are looking for a new team member to assist the Financial Services Manager in supervising a team of advisers under the firm’s T & C Scheme and Advice Process. This role will provide you with an opportunity to work closely with the Financial Services Manager, Compliance Manager and Managing Director as you help to manage business risk.

As a Training and Competence Manager at Tees your role would include:

  • Supervision responsibilities relating to the T&C scheme working with advice team
  • Monitoring of daily risk issues including conducting regular file checks
  • Adherence to the firm’s Advice Process
  • Maintenance of T & C records for the team in line with the firm’s T&C Scheme
  • Liaison with external compliance support
  • Coaching, and development of the T&C Scheme
