Headway

Headway, the brain injury association, is a charity set up to support people affected by brain injury. Headway promotes understanding and awareness of brain injuries, providing information, support and services to people affected by brain injury. Headway also campaigns to reduce the incidence of brain injury. 

Tees is committed to Headway’s code of conduct, and our brain injury solicitors regularly undertake Headway training to ensure the team provides the highest standard of advice in relation to brain injury cases.

The United Kingdom Acquired Brain Injury Forum (UKABIF)

The UKABIF promotes understanding and awareness of acquired brain injury (ABI), and campaigns to improve services for people affected by an ABI. They support patients and carers to ensure that people with an acquired brain injury have access to the services they need. The UKABIF also works alongside professionals and policy makers in the field of ABI, providing practical support, education and networking opportunities to promote awareness. 

Tees is proud to be listed on the UKABIF’s approved lawyer list. The criteria for selection can be found on the UKABIF website.

Action against Medical Accidents (AvMA)

Tees’ Medical Negligence team is accredited by AvMA and a number of our specialists are approved as members of their Specialist Clinical Negligence Panel.

AvMA campaigns to develop better patient safety and justice for those affected by medical accidents. They provide free, independent advice and support to anyone affected by a medical accident – this includes patients and their families.
