Maybe you feel that you’ve not been offered opportunities to advance your career because of your disability. You may feel you have been dismissed because of a disability. Whatever your situation, we are here to help. We provide clear, practical legal advice so you can make an informed decision about your rights and options, including making a discrimination claim to the Employment Tribunal if need be.

What are my options if I’m disabled and being treated unfairly at work?

Under the Equality Act 2010, workers are protected against discrimination on the grounds of their disabilities. Employers are also under a duty to make reasonable adjustments to allow workers who have disabilities to carry out their jobs in certain circumstances. Employers are also not allowed to ask inappropriate health related questions before you take up a job.

Our specialist employment team are particuarly experienced in this area of employment law, so we are the ideal people to talk to if you’ve experienced any of these forms of discrimination.
