New modern offices for Tees opened in Chelmsford

Leading regional law firm, Tees, celebrated the opening of its impressive new modern offices with a reception for business professionals in the city (on Thursday 22nd February 6pm).

Located in the city centre in Parkview House by Central Park, the new offices will allow Tees to nurture and maintain close relationships with city-based clients, and provides a cheerful and comfortable environment for staff and clients alike.

Richard Payne, Head of Company and Commercial at Tees said: “Our clients in Chelmsford expressed a desire for legal advice aimed at businesses and their owners.  Our aim is to be the business lawyers of choice in Essex for clients who want pragmatic, commercially-focussed advice that supports their business growth ambitions, and which is delivered locally by experienced experts in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Rob Whitaker, executive partner and head of Employment at Tees said: “We saw the value in investing in a bigger team with a renewed focus on the Chelmsford market.  We identified a demand in particular for business law services, whether employment law, company and commercial or commercial property.  We’ve invested in those areas and feel we have a top tier offering to meet that demand. Business has been booming as a result.”

The Tees team has expanded to 44 people. Industry big-hitter Richard Payne recently joined as a partner in the specialist Company and Commercial team and in addition, Tees has appointed a new senior associate solicitor, Gwyneth Munjoma in the clinical Negligence and Personal injury team.
