How can I help you?
I have over 9 years’ experience in the field of Wills, Trusts, Tax and Probate. I joined Tees in November 2016 as a Senior Associate, based in the firm’s Cambridge office.
My Cambridge clients include academics, business owners, high net worth individuals and other professionals. I provide advice on the following:
- Lasting powers of attorney
- Estate and succession planning
- Inheritance and capital gains tax
- Trust administration
- Court of protection applications (including deputyships).
Delivering what you really need
Helping and supporting people is at the heart of my work at Tees. I meet many of my clients at, what is often, a challenging or emotionally difficult time in their lives. Guiding clients through their situation, and using my legal expertise to help them get the best result possible, is extremely rewarding.
One of the most gratifying aspects of my work is when clients tell me that I have helped them through a very difficult time yet made the law seem “easy”. I can’t think of a greater compliment!
What else should you know?
The Legal 500 describes me as “exceptionally helpful” (2015) and “straightforward and professional” (2016).
I am a full member of STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners), which is a highly regarded professional body for practitioners. I am a committee member of the Cambridge branch of STEP.
I am a committee member of CDLS (Cambridgeshire & District Law Society), an independently run local law society which represents close to 1,000 lawyers practicing in the City of Cambridge and surroundings. I also sit on CDLS’s newsletter subcommittee and regularly contribute articles for CDLS’s quarterly newsletter, Light Blue Law. I have lectured for CDLS to local solicitors and have co-presented seminars with other professionals on topics such as estate and succession planning and mental incapacity.
