I understand that employment disputes are challenging and distressing both for both business and individuals. I work hard to ensure that my clients achieve a positive outcome, using creative solutions to resolve often challenging and complex employment problems experienced by both employees and employers in the workplace.

How can I help you?

I have worked in the field of employment law since qualifying as a Solicitor 10 years ago. I have also worked in the Litigation field dealing with general and commercial litigation matters. I advise both employer and employee clients on all aspects of employment law, with a full caseload of contractual and contentious work.

My particular areas of interest and specialism are in advising on:

  • Dispute resolution, including advising and assisting on a full range of contentious and non-contentious matters, internal procedures and best practice through to employment tribunals and higher courts for both employer and employee clients;
  • The preparation of bespoke employment documentation to include Employment Contracts, Directors Service Agreements, policies, procedures and Staff Handbooks
  • Employment related claims conducted in the County or High Court, to include breach of contract and injunctive relief applications (both pursuing and defending)
  • Advising upon, the preparation of, and negotiations relating to Compromise Agreements to bring employment relationships to an end

Delivering what you really need

I am available to meet with you at any of our offices, or at your home if required. Futhermore, I regularly present businesses with tailored seminars and workshops at their premises on the full range of employment law issues.

In addition, with my colleagues we offer a range of bespoke support services for employers including audits of policies and procedures; fixed charge retainer backed support and guidance services (with the option of insurance backing for employment tribunal claims; and in-house training.

What else should you show?

I have also completed a Masters Degree in Law in Employment Relations from the University of Leicester, presenting a final thesis on the subject of discipline and grievance in the workplace. I have been a member of the Employment Lawyers Association since qualification. I provide pro bono support to a disability charity and the Citizens Advice Bureau.

In my spare time I enjoy participating in a variety of sports, going to the gym, and I also run a local football team.
