How can I help you?
I commenced my training contract in September 2018 with my first seat in the Commercial Property team. During this time I have already developed my knowledge and experience in property acquisitions and disposals, to include purchase and sale of land, commercial premises and plot sales, in addition to commercial leases, and property development.
I initially joined Tees in 2015 as a paralegal in the family team. During my 3 years, I worked alongside the team in dealing with disputes arising from divorce, cohabiting couples, financial proceedings, Children Act proceedings, and domestic abuse.
I have effective communication skills. Having drafted various statements for all areas of Family Court proceedings for the last three years, I have developed a calm approach when sourcing information from clients. Furthermore, as a paralegal, other specialised responsibilities included preparing Change of Name deeds, and obtaining certificates from the Court to evidence divorce in the UK to enable clients to re-marry in EU countries. As a result, I have strong attention to detail when it comes to my writing.
