I qualified as a Solicitor in March 2009 and joined the Private Client department in September 2012, after working 3 years at a Legal 500 Essex-based firm. I am noted by the Legal 500 as ‘supportive, knowledgeable and confident’ and ‘good with elderly and high-net-worth clients’.
My experience spans a wide range of matters including: the preparation of Wills, obtaining Grants of Probate and Letters of Administration; administering estates; drafting and advising on both basic and more complex trusts (lifetime trusts and Will trusts); dealing with trust administration; preparation and registration of Lasting Powers of Attorney, assisting with the registration of Enduring Powers of Attorney and applications to the Court of Protection to appoint a Deputy where there is no Lasting or Enduring Power of Attorney, assisting individuals and families with estate planning and advising on inheritance tax.
I understand that the law can be difficult to understand and therefore aim to explain complex legal and technical issues to clients in a simple and straightforward way.
I am a member of the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and am also an associate member of Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE).
