I am a solicitor in our family team and based in our Cambridge office. Prior to qualifying as a solicitor in 2021 I worked as a paralegal and have specialised in family law since 2015 in a variety of settings including boutique family law specialist firms, and well-known national firms.
I have experience in all areas of family law, including divorce and dissolution of marriages and civil partnerships, cohabitee claims and pre- or post-nuptial agreements. I also specialise in all manner of financial claims following the breakdown of a marriage or civil partnership, with a particular interest in pensions and family business assets, and I have significant experience in complex children matters including contact arrangements, specific issues orders, prohibited steps orders, parenting agreements and international abduction.
Delivering what you really need
I know that approaching a solicitor for any reason can be a daunting experience for most, and so I always do my best to make sure you feel relaxed and able to share information with me openly and honestly. Family matters are often deeply personal but I will listen and certainly not judge, no matter the circumstances.
I am committed to clear and concise communication so you know exactly what is going on and what to expect regarding timescales, costs and next steps.
What else should you know?
I completed my undergraduate degree at St Andrews University and my postgraduate degree at the University of Cambridge. I studied for my Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) at the University of Law and graduated with a Distinction in my Legal Practice Course (LPC).
I am a member of Resolution, an organisation which promotes a non-confrontational approach to family law issues, and I am a member of the Resolution Publications Committee.
