How can I help you?
I am an Associate Solicitor based in the Brentwood office. I qualified as a solicitor in 2013, and have specialised in commercial property since that time. I joined Tees Law in 2019.
Delivering what you really need
My practice covers a broad range of commercial property work, including commercial leases, acquisitions and sales, option agreements, overage agreements, and secured lending.
I have experience in acting for a broad range of clients, from individual tenants looking to take on the first lease for their new business, to established development companies looking to add to their portfolio.
Regardless of the type of client or type of work involved, my priorities are always to:
· Identify key issues at an early stage
· Be responsive (both to my client and all other parties)
· Maintain a high level of quality and expertise in drafting and technical aspects
I believe in a modern and professional approach to advising on commercial property, which I would summarise as maintaining a positive and proactive attitude, dealing with any issues sensibly and in a way that best serves my client’s specific commercial interests, and ensuring that my client understands exactly what is happening at any given stage. It is an approach that has worked well for both me and my clients.
What else should you know?
I graduated from the University of Leeds with a degree in Philosophy Major / Psychology Minor before completing the Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) and Legal Practice Course (LPC) at the College of Law. I achieved a distinction in the LPC, and following completion of both the GDL and LPC I was awarded a further degree in Law.
Away from work I like to keep active. I play hockey competitively in the east region hockey leagues, and I am a keen surfer.
