I’ve specialised in Private Client law in Chelmsford for the past 16 years and throughout this time I have seen the city, and our client base change and grow. I have headed up the Private Client team in Chelmsford for over 12 years, and have forged close relations throughout this time, enabling me to be able to deliver a holistic and joined up approach to clients issues.
My workload includes advising on Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorneys and succession planning. I am approached regularly in assisting business owners and farming clients in planning for the future and ensuring the passing of assets between generations.
I regularly advise farming families on how to structure their business interests to ensure that their farming assets pass through the family as they would want. Having such an expert team means that I can talk with your professional advisers and make sure that any work is dealt with at the appropriate level in our firm.
I specialise in dealing with complex Probate matters and have been recognised in the Legal 500 as leading on several new complex farming probates.

What else should you know?
I am a committee member of the Essex branch of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). I have previously presented to care home managers, financial advisers and accountants on the different areas of my practice.
Outside of work I’m a keen fundraiser through my work with the local Round Table. I’m also a budding sportsman, being a member of the local Law Society cricket team.
