Our approach is all about putting the client at the centre of all we do. Our legal support specialists are key to providing proactive support to assist our clients throughout the work that they are hiring Tees to do.

Client care

As a legal support specialist in our client care teams, you will be working directly with our legal experts to ensure the very best client experience. You will be a vital part of the smooth running of all legal departments.

We make sure you have the training, time and work systems to proactively manage and support our clients with the information and reassurance they may need during their matter. This is central to the Tees' mission to be the firm of choice for exceptional service, quality of life and doing business responsibly.

In supporting our clients and your team of legal experts, you can expect to;

  • monitor the progress of client matters and ensure regular client updates
  • manage enquiries from clients via telephone, email and/or face-to-face, to keep them informed of progress and to answer any queries
  • prepare court forms, statements and other court-related documentation
  • obtain ID information, undertake conflicts of interest, and perform financial checks
  • liaise with a range of regulatory bodies such as HMRC and Land Registry
  • maintain accurate client records and proofread documents
  • organise client meetings and take minutes.

Central Services

Our Central Services team is at the heart of our business, a hub of activity where you will be performing a wide variety of administrative and data management tasks. Excellent client experience is a top priority at Tees, so the support provided by our Central Services team is fundamental and enables our direct support (Client Care teams) to have more capacity to fully support our solicitors with their client instructions.

The Central Services team undertake work collaboratively with our legal teams on tasks such as, but not limited to:

  • Anti Money Laundering checks,
  • the creation and set up of our electronic files,
  • initial letters, document retrieval, court bundles
  • the creation and maintenance of all data and records within our Peppermint case management system. 

As part of the Central team, you will be providing:

  • a collaborative service that enables the client work to progress from an administration point, while the legal team progress our client work from an advice and support aspect.
  • support Marketing, Risk and Compliance, and Tees Wealth Management.

Client Welcome and Enquiries

Our client experience is of paramount importance and our Front of House and Enquiries Teams are ready to show our clients, right from the very first contact, what they can expect from the Tees experience.

Whether our clients contact us by telephone or face to face, our professionalism is what gives them the confidence that Tees will expertly assist them, wherever possible, with their matter.

As part of the Tees Welcome Team, immense pride is taken when looking after the clients who personally visit our offices.

  • We are ready to welcome clients with empathy, and sympathy where appropriate and with a positive approach to their needs, following our ethos: ‘How can I help and what more can I do’? 
  • Calendar management, meeting refreshments and general administration are just some of the tasks you will fulfil whilst reacting swiftly to the needs of both clients and staff alike.

As part of the Enquiries team, you will be answering numerous calls into the busy central switchboard for all six Tees offices. 

  • Accuracy and the ability to obtain information swiftly, are essential,
  • expertly connecting our callers to the right person, within the business,  is fundamental to assisting them effectively.
