I joined Tees in September 2021 as a trainee solicitor. I strive to provide high quality service whilst gaining competency to practice as a solicitor. I'm excited to start my first six-month long seat in the medical negligence department.
I graduated in 2017 from the University of Exeter with a 2:1 BA (Hons) in English Literature.
Following which I studied the Graduate Diploma in Law and then the Legal Practice Course achieving a high Distinction in 2021.
My interest in the law arose from a few sources. I come from a farming background and am an active partner in my family's arable farm. As a farming family, we have had cause to instruct solicitors in many different areas from Wills and Trusts to Residential Property. I know the importance to any business of building a team of trusted advisers.
My younger brother is disabled, and we spent many years engaged in litigation to secure an adequate education for him. I began my legal career working in a firm which specialized in SEN and disability law. It was here I truly developed my passion for the law and for representing my client’s best interests at all times.
Outside of work I enjoy running, painting and writing.
