How can I help you?
I specialise in contentious construction matters, including claims relating to breach of contract, the recovery of interim and final payments, valuation and variation disputes, defective works and professional negligence. I act for developers, contractors, sub-contractors and individuals.
I am experienced in referring and responding to adjudications and firmly believe in this method of resolving construction disputes.
I am the main point of contact with the NFU and run our NFU LAS scheme.
Delivering what you really need
I understand the stress and financial implications that come with any form of dispute and will always provide commercial advice, allowing my clients to make informed commercial decisions from the outset.
I believe that alternative dispute resolution is a powerful tool, and proactively seek to negotiate and settle disputes where possible, including through mediation. The Legal 500 2020 edition describes me as being “well-versed in ADR”.
What else should you know?
I qualified at a well-known regional firm at the beginning of 2018 where I worked for over 5 years. Prior to this, I spent over 8 years in London working in both private practice and an in-house legal department. I joined Tees in September 2020.
The Legal 500 2024 edition lists me as a key lawyer and describes me as “very professional and very approachable”.
