Polly Kerr, Senior Associate at Tees leads our education law team. As the only lawyer from a family of teachers, Polly was drawn to practising in the highly specialised fields of education law and reputational risk management. She acts for and advises schools (maintained, academies and independent schools) in all matters.
Polly delights in helping cut through educational red tape and is well known as a specialist in this niche area of the law. She is a member of the Education Law Association and is an Associate Member of the Governing Body at a lower school in Central Bedfordshire. She has also been a governor at two schools (lower and secondary) prior to having her second child and so understand the needs of schools from primary stage right through to secondary and beyond.
