How can I help you? 

I have worked in the field of Wills, trusts and probate since I qualified as a lawyer more than 27 years ago. My particular interests are in wills and probates with an international dimension and I work closely with our French law team to provide advice on succession issues for UK clients owning property in France. I also provide a lot of specialist succession advice to our extensive rural client base. This can involve wills, tax planning either for diversification or handing on to the younger generation and administration of estates qualifying for Agricultural Property Relief or Business Property Relief. 

Delivering what you really need 

I head the Wills, Trusts, Tax and Probate team which comprises 2 partners, 2 consultants, and 25 lawyers and trust tax accountants all available to meet our clients at any of our offices or at your home, hospital or care home. We also can draw upon the legal expertise of our colleagues in other teams to provide advice on residential and commercial property, litigation, and family matters to ensure that you receive advice tailored to your needs.

What else should you know? 

I am a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) which is a highly regarded professional body for practitioners. I have been awarded the STEP Advanced Certificate in International Succession. I am a member of Solicitors for the Elderly. The Wills, Trust Tax and Probate teams are proud to participate in various charity will writing schemes for hospices local to our offices and welcome the opportunity to support new hospices whenever we can. Additionally, I have experience of dealing with estates involving assets held in many varied jurisdictions.
