How can I help you?
Having worked in family law for over a decade, I have a wide range of experience, including advising on divorce, financial settlements, nuptial agreements and arrangements for children. Of these areas, my particular specialism is advising on financial arrangements arising from divorce.
I am a member of Resolution and therefore my primary objective is to try and resolve disputes amicably; however, I recognise that this is not always possible and readily adapt my approach when needed.
Delivering what you need
I think it important that clients have an understanding of the key issues from the outset and therefore ensure this is addressed from our first meeting. I listen to what clients wish to achieve – their priorities – and set out in simple terms both the options available and the pros and cons of each. I am always conscious of the costs involved and give clear estimates at our first meeting to help clients budget accordingly.
Clients regularly comment on my calm, reassuring and balanced approach. They have also described me as “extremely personable” and my work “instils a huge amount of confidence”.
I am recognised as a “key lawyer” in the Legal500.

Whilst I am based in the Bishop’s Stortford office, I am available to meet clients in other locations – or by video call.
I enjoy spending time with my family and watching or playing sports (although my young children have meant I have less time to play as much as I used to).
