How can I help you?
I qualified as a solicitor in 2002 and advise business clients on all aspects of corporate, banking and finance law with a particular specialism in asset and share acquisitions and disposals, joint venture, shareholders’ and partnership agreements. My experience also includes acting for lenders and borrower on a wide variety of financing arrangements, from term and revolving credit facilities to asset and trade finance documentation, including security arrangements and guarantees. I act for a variety of clients which include banks, high net worth individuals, entrepreneurs, start-ups, SMEs and charities.
Delivering what you really need
As a former in-house lawyer, I have a thorough understanding of legal risk and can explain clearly the germane legal concepts and the chances of those risks materialising. I am also one of very few lawyers in Essex that has significant banking and finance experience, which results from over 8 years working for two leading investment banks in Tokyo. I enjoy building firm client relations by taking the time to get to know the client and their business, which enables me to provide tailored, relevant advice.
What else should you know?
I graduated from the University of Sussex (LLB 2:1), the University of Cambridge (LLM 1st) and, much later, the University of Essex (LLM Distinction). I have also completed the LPC where I received a distinction. Outside the law, my interests are cryptoasset trading, cycling, running, golf, juggling and perfecting the art of the risotto.
