Who am I?
I am currently a Paralegal in the Commercial Property Team in Cambridge, joining shortly after passing my Graduate Diploma in Law at the University of Sussex in 2019. My role consists of facilitating and structuring property transactions of all natures, be it with my own clients or assisting other fee earners in my team. My current workload focuses on Landlord and Tenant related matters such as long- and short-term leases as well as advising on other Leasehold management matters. I also deal with Freehold or Leasehold acquisitions and sales, alongside other Estate management matters.
Delivering what you need
Since joining Tees and putting my GDL into practice, I have learnt that each transaction holds its own unique set of challenges, regardless of how similar it may be to another matter. There are always key differences that bring their own challenges and that must be dealt with in a bespoke way. My approach is to be regimented and proactive, ensuring that all time spent on a matter, paves way for a positive outcome for the client.
What else you should know
I studied my undergraduate degree in Politics and International Relations at Nottingham Trent University achieving a 2:1. Further to this, I stayed on to specialise in International Relations as a Masters Student where I was awarded a commendation. Finally, I attended the University of Sussex where I undertook and passed the Graduate Diploma in Law. Outside of work I enjoy participating in sporting events or long runs and Cycle rides.
