I am an experienced and practical commercial property solicitor. I qualified in 2004 at a City firm and spent 11 years there, before spending 7 years at a very busy high street firm on the East London/Essex borders. I joined Tees in September 2022.
I enjoy working with a wide range of clients, from investor clients with significant property portfolios to new businesses taking on their first leases. I enjoy building long-term relationships with clients and find it very rewarding to get word-of-mouth recommendations

Delivering what you really need
I am empathetic and pragmatic in my approach and understand that my job is ultimately about making sure you get what need: having your transaction go through within an expected timescale; making sure that your business can do what you want it to be able to do with a property; trying to foresee complications and making sure any unexpected problems along the way are dealt with proactively and efficiently.
I encourage clients to involve me as early as possible in a transaction as early advice often prevents issues from arising once documents start being negotiated. Once a transaction is underway I strive to develop straightforward and friendly relations with other solicitors to help things go smoothly, while protecting your interests.
What else should you know?
I am Chair of the Governing Board of a large primary school in East London and am passionate about the importance of education in society. I love travelling and the outdoors and try to combine both as often as possible, hopefully instilling a sense of adventure in my two children!
I like to feel I have added value to a property transaction or enquiry by going above and beyond a client’s expectations, by being approachable and available. Building a trusted relationship with clients is important to me alongside simply getting the job done.
